Who can come to Ultimate Obstacles?
Anyone over the age of 5 can come to any open gym time! Classes start at age 6. And adults have just as much fun as kids. We have a wide range of obstacles to challenge all ages and skill levels – so parents can train at the same time as the kids.
What about my child younger than 5? They want to be a ninja too!
Our gym was built with slightly older children in mind, so most obstacles will be too big for them. However, we have special open gym times for kids ages 3-4 to try what they can!
What do I wear?
Wear comfy clothes that you can move around in and SNEAKERS! Sneakers are required on the obstacle course floor. NO SOCKS, BOOTS, OR FLIP FLOPS will be allowed.
When do you have open gym?
Open gym sessions are offered weekends and some weekdays, and over school vacations! Register online through the online calendar or drop in if there is space available. Floor staff are always walking around to watch for safety, give tips, and set up courses and challenges for you!
How much is open gym?
Open gym visits you have a few options. A one time drop in is $20 per person – no time limits & you can leave and come back throughout the day! Crazy right?? We want you to get the most of your day!
Punch Cards are always a good idea. Buy the 10 visit card for $150 (an average of $15 per visit) and use it as quick or as slow as you want. They never expire and you can share it with family and friends!
Memberships are available for more frequent visitors. We have monthly memberships for kids and adults unlimited open gym and for adult fitness classes, and 8 week sessions for youth Obstacle Warrior classes.
How long can I stay?
You can stay for as long as you want – we have no time limits (as long as you leave when we close)! Usually people will stay for about 2 hours. Some kids tire quicker than that, and some would stay all day if they could. It is up to you!
What kind of obstacles do you have?
We have over 40 obstacles of all different sizes and styles. We have American Ninja Warrior style obstacles like 4 different height Warped Walls, kid & adult size Salmon Ladders, cliffhangers, cargo nets, rings, peg boards, spinning bridges, and so much more. We also do a lot of Spartan Race training! We have walls and ropes to climb, tires of all sizes, as well as a Hercules hoist and a spear throw to prep you for any obstacle a mud race can throw at you!
Do the obstacles ever change?
We change out our obstacles all the time so you have something new and fun to try every time you visit! Smaller obstacles change every few days, bigger obstacles could stay for a few weeks, and really popular ones could stay for a few months. Every week we come up with a new Weekly Challenge, Weekly Obstacle Course, and Weekly Workout to keep things fresh and give you something awesome to work on.
Do you do birthday parties?
We do lots of birthday parties! Click here for a full description of what we offer with the party package. Parties run during open gym times on weekends and weekdays. Fall and spring are the busy party season – we book up at least a month in advance – so make sure you call early to get the spot you want!

How long have you been open?
Ultimate Obstacles opened on March 26th 2016. We have been having loads of fun ever since!

We came for an open gym slot and it was super easy to make reservations online and sign the waiver!
There were many obstacle courses that you can do and it is divided into the "kids" section and "adult" section, but it is by no means "easy." Things are just shorter and closer in the kids section so it's a good place to warm up and take it easy while learning the foundations/ basics so you won't hurt yourself.
2 hours passed by very quick lol. We spent most of our time practicing on the warped walls, pushing to ones that are taller as we get comfortable with it.
Since I've been wanting to get a little better at obstacle courses, I decided to check out a gym designed just for that. Apparently, some of the customers/staff here have been shown on America's Ninja Warrior! Definitely adds to their credibility. Also, from their ONE session solely on how to control your balance, helped with an obstacle I had today at a race. I was able to walk across a beam without falling into the water. Honestly, their training works and I hope to learn more before my next race in August.
