OCR AT ULTIMATE OBSTACLES
Join us for UO’s Gym OCR SERIES!
We miss having all the OCR options that we used to have, so we are hosting a 4 Race Series with 3 Race Distances to choose from! Check out the details below and sign up today.
Format:
3 Race distances to choose from!
– 1 Mile (Merlin Mile) with 16 Obstacles. A fun and fast course for beginners or sprinters.
– 5k (Fox Trot) with 20 Obstacles. A more challenging course requiring agility and technique.
– 10k (Timber Wolf) with 24 Obstacles. A grueling course demanding endurance and strength.
2025 Dates:
– Saturday, June 7th at UO Holyoke
– Sunday, July 27th at UO West Boylston
– Saturday, September 27th at UO Holyoke
– Sunday, October 26th at UO West Boylston
Costs:
– $30 for the Merlin Speed, $35 for the Fox Trot, and $40 for the Timber Wolf
– (1) Drink at School Yahd included after any races in West Boylston
6 Weeks to Sparta Training!
Want to train with us to complete more obstacles and get ready for your next OCR?! We run 6 Week Training programs to show you the technique for the obstacles so that you can feel accomplished during race day. In addition to the obstacles training, you’ll also get a conditioning workout to get your body and mind stronger as well.
Sessions starts on these days to lead up to a race, but join anytime!
– Week of April 28th leading up to the UO Gym OCR in Holyoke, MA on June 7th
– Week of July 7th leading up to the Spartan Sprint/Super in Barre, MA on August 16th/17th
– Week of August 18th leading up to the UO Gym OCR in West Boylston, MA on September 28th
– Week of September 29th leading up to the Spartan Race at Fenway in Boston on November 8th

So many reason to join us in the fun! We have the perfect facility to train at with so many options from open gym to 6 Week to Sparta classes. At most races one of the UO Coaches will be running right alongside the group giving support along the way.
Having a Team means support from others on the team during training and at the race. We will be providing discount codes for the race and will be setting up special training days with different race companies.

Spartan Race has generously given us promo codes that take off 100% of the race costs so that we can invite more people to the races. You only have to pay for the taxes and insurance which runs about $27, such a deal! The races are good for any distance up to Ultra, but they must be redeemed by July 30th!
In addition to our classes and open gym, we will be running one day workshops to get you ready for any Spartan Race coming up.
